Ms. Coackley

Coordinator of Academic Programs

Originally from Great Britain, Ms. Coackley was educated in Scotland. She worked in administration and marketing with Hewlett Packard in South Queensferry, Scotland for ten years before relocating to America. Ms. Coackley was also a small business owner on the East Coast. Since moving to California, she has spent the last fourteen years in private education as a K-12 Registrar and Data Administrator.

Ms. Coackley is excited to be part of the BASIS Independent Fremont team as Coordinator of Academic Programs; the staff and faculty are passionate about learning, and students are encouraged to be thinkers and problem solvers. She is thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to such a rich learning community, and she is looking forward to connecting with students and parents.

In her free time outside of school, Ms. Coackley enjoys sewing, knitting, puzzle solving, and spending time with her family. One of her many goals is to teach the world to knit, reviving a traditional craft. She owes it to the sheep in Scotland!
