Ms. Wagner earned a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. To further her knowledge and education with elementary age students, she pursued a kindergarten through grade six teaching credential from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. She has spent the last two years teaching third grade at an academically rigorous school in Los Altos. She has also spent the last two summers teaching a remedial summer school class for students entering third grade.
Ms. Wagner’s goal as a Learning Expert Teacher is to assist each student in becoming the best student they can be. She is extremely passionate about providing the opportunities and experiences necessary to help students learn.
Ms. Wagner chose BASIS Independent Fremont because it gives her the opportunity to teach both a rigorous and an engaging curriculum. Ms. Wagner looks forward to coming to work every day; her positive attitude and enthusiasm noticeably transfers into the classroom. Ms. Wagner believes that all students have the ability to succeed when given the right tools and encouragement. She is a strong believer that it is the job of the teacher to instill a love of learning in their students. This motto is one that she follows and exudes daily throughout her lessons, interactions with students and in her attitude.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, shopping and traveling. Although Ms. Wagner is a San Francisco native, she enjoys sightseeing and exploring all the wonderful things that the Fremont area has to offer!
